Gathering great assemblies for witness and worship is part of the fabric of the Church of the Nazarene. We gather to celebrate the great works of God. We gather to fortify our relationship with God and each one who is engaged in our shared mission and vision. We gather to give an account of our lives. We may even experience conviction and the need to confess carelessness and slackness. We invite you to gather with us at our 2025 Southern California District Assembly.

Christian Sarmiento, has been a pastor, church planter, and servant of God in the Church of the Nazarene since 1976. He has served in many denominational roles in South America, including president of South American Nazarene Seminary. Since 2005, Sarmiento had been the regional director for the South America Region. Christian Sarmiento was elected the 45th general superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene at the General Assembly and Conventions on June 15, 2023.
